What is Plastic Free July?
Plastic Free July is all about that moment of taking the initiative to refuse single-use plastics. Simply put, it's a global movement that helps millions of people be part of the solution to plastic pollution - so we can have cleaner streets, oceans, and beautiful communities.
So, this July even we at BARE had taken up the initiative to encourage people to go plastic free and discard all single-use plastics. It's a movement which is absolutely about what we believe in and have been creating awareness about. We called out to all our friends, artists, old and new collaborators to make some zero waste art! And, it was a lovely response what we did receive from everyone out there. Global Shapers Bangalore, Better India Shop and 94.3 Radio One came forward to join in our initiative as well. Isn't that cool?

We have also been sharing tips and ways to adopt a zero waste lifestyle on our social media handles. Cloth bags instead of plastic ones, replacing plastic straws with steel or bamboo ones, seed pens, wooden cutlery, menstrual cups and so on. You can see our journey so far here
