The Herbalist is a handmade cold-processed natural soap bar built around three of nature's most powerful skin-loving herbs — basil, rosemary and neem. Purifying, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory — this is the bar for skin that needs a proper, thorough cleanse without synthetic chemicals or harsh detergents.

Neem oil — one of India's most trusted antibacterial botanicals — shields skin against acne-causing bacteria, cleanses deeply and detoxifies. Basil oil soothes inflammation and redness. Rosemary oil purifies pores and provides antioxidant protection. Together they create a herbal powerhouse that goes far beyond what a standard soap bar can offer.

The base of coconut oil, sesame seed oil and castor seed oil — rich in fatty acids — moisturises skin and creates a gentle cleansing action that removes dirt, impurities and excess oil without disturbing the skin's natural moisture barrier.

A neutral, earthy herbal fragrance — fresh, grounding and clean. Suitable for all skin types. Particularly effective for oily, acne-prone and combination skin. Popular with men for its clean, non-floral scent.

How to use

Wet the bar and your skin. Massage gently onto face or body to build a rich lather. Allow it a moment to work — the neem and basil need a few seconds to act on the skin. Rinse thoroughly with water. Store on a well-draining soap dish between uses to extend the bar's life significantly.

How do I use it?

Wet the bar and your skin. Massage gently to build a rich lather on face or body. Let it sit for a few seconds to allow the neem and basil to work. Rinse thoroughly with water.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes — neem and basil are both gentle enough for facial use and particularly effective for oily or acne-prone facial skin. Avoid direct contact with eyes. Patch test first if you have sensitive skin.

How often should I use it?

Daily use is fine for oily and combination skin. For normal or dry skin 3-4 times a week alongside a more moisturising bar works well.

How do I make it last longer?

Store on a well-draining soap dish and keep away from standing water between uses. Letting the bar dry fully after each wash significantly extends its life.

Can I travel with it?

Yes — solid, compact and spill-proof. Perfect for zero-waste travel.

Is the packaging compostable?

Yes — fully compostable packaging. When the bar is done compost the wrapping in your home compost bin. Nothing goes to landfill.
